Best Hostels in Berlin

Hostels in Berlin

Many travellers prefer to stay in a hostel in Berlin, rather than a hotel, so that they can meet new people who share the same interests, usually around the same age (18-30), and to save money in Berlin during their trip.

This is great because it’s really easy to find a cheap hostel in Berlin!

Pfefferbett Hostel – Mitte

Here are a few options to consider if you’re looking for a hostel in Berlin. Pfefferbett, located in the ever so cool Mitte district, but hidden away in a quiet corner, has its own biergarten/beach bar with sand, as well as clean accomodation and a great reputation. What more could you ask for?

The Circus Hostel – Mitte

An even cheaper hostel in Berlin is The Circus Hostel. The location can’t get much better than Rosenthaler Platz, where you have transport, restaurants, cafes, and nightlife, so you only have to walk a few meters to find your bed after a fun night out in Berlin.

Baxpax Hostel – Kreuzberg

If you’d prefer to stay in one of the more alternative neighbourhoods in Berlin, perhaps the Baxpax Kreuzberg Hostel would be a good choice.

Kreuzberg is an international neighbourhood where you’ll find everything you’re looking for, and on a budget.

If you stay in Kreuzberg, you have to check out the Turkish market on Tuesday or Friday, as we’ve recommended on Things to do in Berlin.

The Meininger – Mitte

If you love touristy areas and don’t mind hanging out with fellow tourists, then Oranienburgerstrasse could be the ideal place to stay in Berlin.

The Meininger Berlin Mitte Humboldthaus offers great accomodation just around the corner from art galleries, tons of restaurants, cafes, fast food, and bars, and you can even walk to the attractions on Friedrichstraße from there.

Eastern Comfort boat Hostel – Friedrichshain

If you’re in the mood for a completely different hotel, why not stay in a boat hotel on the canal? The Eastern Comfort boat hotel offers a fun stay in Berlin, and it’s also really close to the aforementioned bars and restaurants on Simon-Dach-Straße.

With these options of Hostels in Berlin, all you have to do is pick the right hostel for you, and start packing for your trip to Berlin.
